
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (Minister Song Mi-ryeong) and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT, President Hong Moon-pyo) participated in the 2025 New York Fancy Food Show, held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York from June 29 to July 1. They operated an integrated Korea Pavilion, resulting in 487 business consultations and the signing of 16 on-site MOUs worth a total of USD 10.71 million.
Now in its 69th edition, the New York Fancy Food Show is the largest B2B food trade fair in North America, attracting food companies and buyers from across the globe. Held under the theme “Experience the Future of Food,” this year’s show featured approximately 200,000 products from over 2,400 companies, focusing on global food trends with a spotlight on functionality, sustainability, and innovation.
aT organized the largest-ever Korea Pavilion with 57 K-Food export companies, showcasing the competitiveness and market potential of Korean food. Products such as a variety of flavored tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), traditional tteok (rice cakes), plant-based items like vegetable dumplings, and functional beverages received strong interest from buyers, leading to active and productive consultations.
