Hyundai Motor Group has joined hands with the Korea Testing Certification institute (KTC), an internationally recognized testing agency, to establish the Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Quality Certification Center (E-CQV) for qualitative growth in the domestic electric vehicle market.
Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 19th (Monday) that it plans to operate the Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Quality Certification System from the end of the year at the KTC main building in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province, with officials such as Kim Heung-soo, vice president of Global Strategy Office (GSO), Ahn Sung-il, and Jin Jong-wook.
Hyundai Motor Group and KTC agreed to support domestic charger manufacturers in various ways to further improve charger quality and revitalize the charging ecosystem by increasing customer satisfaction with electric vehicle charging quality.
The establishment of the "E-CQV" is also meaningful in that it will establish a reliable charger quality certification system to contribute to the expansion of the supply of chargers that customers can trust and ultimately improve the convenience of charging electric vehicles.
