Chungcheongbuk-do (Chungbuk) Province reported strong export results at the “2025 Korea Excellent Cosmetics Fair – Chungbuk On-Site Export Consultation” held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from July 23 to 24. The province supported local cosmetic companies’ participation, helping them engage in productive discussions with local buyers.
Targeting Vietnam’s growing interest in K-beauty, the event aimed to support promising small and mid-sized brands in expanding their global reach. Ten Chungbuk-based companies took part, including Oldam (cream), Naturetech (ampoules), Bugang Cosmetic (moisture gel), and Preventist (wash foam).
With one-on-one consultations, live product demos, and on-site testing, the brands drew significant interest from Vietnamese distributors and importers. The event led to 113 consultation cases worth a combined $18.18 million, resulting in 73 signed export deals totaling $5.53 million—clearly reinforcing the global appeal of Chungbuk’s K-beauty sector.
Notably, the consultation event was held alongside Vietnam’s largest beauty exhibition, “Vietbeauty & Cosmobeauté,” from July 24 to 26. Chungbuk operated a joint promotional booth at the expo, which helped connect buyers directly to the consultation space and maximize results.
