Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 9th that it has signed a business agreement with Aegis Asset Management, Korea's leading alternative investment operator, to commercialize robot-friendly buildings.
Officials from both companies attended the signing ceremony at Uiwang Research Institute, including Kim Yong-hwa, vice president of Hyundai Motor and Kia's R&D division, Hyun Dong-jin, executive director of Robotics Lab, Jung Seok-woo, CEO of Aegis Asset Management's real asset division, and Lee Chul-seung.
This cooperation was promoted to develop a "robotics total solution" for high-tech smart office buildings and to build robot-friendly buildings at key hubs of future growth companies.
By linking various robot technologies such as △ indoor and outdoor delivery robots △ unmanned parking robots △ guide and service robots △ electric vehicle charging robots △ personal mobility △ unmanned delivery systems, the two companies plan to jointly develop robots optimized for the work environment of future high-tech industrial companies.
