2024 IMAO to be held in Geumsan in October

With the 42nd Geumsan World Ginseng Festival

The Organizing Committee of the IMAO (International Martial Arts Olympiad) (Chairman Dr. Oh No-kyun) will hold the 4th International Martial Arts Olympiad Taekwondo World Festival from October 4 to 6 at Geumsan General Gymnasium and World Ginseng Festival Center. The first Olympiad will be held for the fourth time this year, starting in Guam, the United States, in 2019 with the slogan of the World Peace, Health, and Friendship Competition. 

The International Martial Arts Olympiad, which will be held together with the 42nd Geumsan World Ginseng Festival (October 3-11), will be held for three days with a youth fitness certification contest, a senior taekwondo festival, a taekwondo international open pumsae and breaking competition, and an international martial arts competition. 

The Psychological Development Martial Arts World Clubs Championship, which is scheduled to be held in particular, will be held as a special event involving all athletes and domestic and foreign tourists with a prize money. Last year, 2,669 executive athletes and tourists from 60 countries (including Korea) participated in the event under the sponsorship of the National Flag Institute of the World Taekwondo Headquarters, which was held as a big event in the country of Taekwondo. The Muye Olympiad Festival will be officially promoted by Buddhist Public News TV Culture Broadcasting, Muye Newspaper, NewsK, and martial arts magazines.

For foreign athletes participating in the festival, the organizing committee will provide accommodation during the tournament.
