Jung Ji-min of the North Face Athlete Team wins the bronze medal in sports climbing at the Hangzhou Asian Games

Jung Ji-min (19), a member of the North Face Athlete team of Youngwon Outdoor (CEO Sung Ki-hak), won the bronze medal in the women's speed relay category of sports climbing at the Hangzhou Asian Games.

Jung Ji-min recorded 26.901 seconds with Noh Hee-joo and Choi Na-woo (Family Mountain Association) in the third place race in the women's sports climbing women's speed relay at the Hangzhou Asian Games on the 4th, beating Kazakhstan with 27.998 seconds.

At the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games, when sports climbing was first introduced as an official event, South Korea won one gold medal (North Face Athlete Team Chun Jong-won), one silver medal (North Face Athlete Team Sasol) and one bronze medal (Kim Ja-in) in the sports climbing combine category, and at the Hangzhou Asian Games, the men's and women's teams won the bronze medal for the first time in the sports climbing speed relay category, respectively.

Jung Ji-min, who competed in the Asian Games for the first time as a teenager, showed her excellent skills, winning bronze in the women's speed relay and finishing fifth, the highest among Korean athletes in the women's speed individual.
