In 2023, Korean Wave-linked collaborative content actor Suzy will be produced in Hanbok
It will also be released on the cover of the January issue of Korea's famous fashion magazine on the 20th
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Yoo In-chon, hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) will unveil the hanbok of actress Suzy, produced through the "2023 Korean Wave-linked Collaborative Content Planning and Development" project with the Korea Crafts and Design Culture Promotion Agency (Director Jang Dong-kwang, hereinafter referred to as Gong Jin-won).
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is promoting the "planning and development of collaborative contents linked to the Korean Wave" in order to promote hanbok designed through collaboration between Korean small and medium-sized hanbok companies and Korean Wave cultural artists at home and abroad and expand the extension of the Korean Wave. Last year, the ministry developed and promoted hanbok involving former figure skater Kim Yu-na.
This year, six small and medium-sized Korean hanbok companies* selected through the public offering have developed hanbok products based on actress Suzy, and designed actress Suzy Hanbok by utilizing modern trends and senses while maintaining the traditional composition and elements of hanbok.
Actress Suzy will release a photo shoot on a billboard at Times Square Broadway in New York from 6 a.m. on Dec. 24 to 2 a.m. on Dec. 25. The photo shoot will also be available on Gong Jin-won's YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/kcdf2011) from Dec. 26.
In addition, actress Suzy will be introduced in the January issue of a famous fashion magazine on Dec. 20. The photo shoot, which consists of 12 photos including the cover of a magazine, showcases the beauty of the hanbok, which combines the charm of actress Suzy with an unrivaled atmosphere.
The hanbok, developed this year, will be available on the Hanbok Mulgyeol website (www.hanbokwave.com ) from December 26 and will be unveiled at next year's hanbok-related exhibitions and fashion shows such as the Newtro Festival ('24. 2. 7. 25. / Culture Station Seoul 284) and Hanbok Culture Week (scheduled for the third week of October).
