The "Geumsan International Martial Arts Olympiad" was successfully held

The International Martial Arts Olympiad (President Oh No-kyun/former professor at Chungcheong National University) will hold a ceremony at 5 p.m. on the 9th to successfully host the International Martial Arts Olympiad, which will be promoted along with the 2023 World Ginseng Festival.

After successfully holding the opening ceremony of the Geumsan Olympiad office on July 1, the ceremony will be held in solidarity with the Chungcheong region.

In particular, Muju Taekwondo Center (Jeonbuk), Geumsan Goryeo Ginseng and Hoguk Martial Arts (Chungnam), Ssangcheongdang Korean Unique Food (Daejeon), Gogung Gallery Hongsan Culture (Chungbuk), and Kukkiwon (Seoul) will be declared.

Representative Lee In-je, National Assemblyman Lee Myung-soo, National Assemblyman Seol Dong-ho, former Lee Yang-hee, Okcheon County Governor Hwang Kyu-chul, Chungcheongnam-do Audit Committee Chairman Shim Eun-seok, Daejeon City Council First Vice Chairman Kim Jin-oh.

"I would like to thank all those who have overcome all difficulties and devoted themselves to the International Martial Arts Olympiad (IMAO)," President Oh Noh-kyun said. "We prepared today's event with the success of the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival in October and the 20th anniversary of the Gogung Gallery." 

Starting in Guam, the Geumsan International Martial Arts Olympiad will host an international competition (www.imao.kr) at Geumsan Indoor Gymnasium from October 13 to 16, with more than 2,000 martial arts youths and their families from more than 20 countries, including Korea, the United States, Japan, China and Malaysia.
