International relief organization The Promise appointed Ryujin, a member of ITZY, as the first member of the "Honors Club," a group for major donors.
The Promise announced on the 30th that ITZY member Ryujin was recorded as the first sponsor of the Honors Club as he donated 50 million won each to emergency relief for forest fires on the east coast in 2022 and emergency relief for victims of earthquakes in Turkiye and Syria in 2023.
Jin Ryu said, “It is fortunate that I can be of some help to those affected by the disaster, even in small ways, and it is even more meaningful to be appointed as the first member of the Honors Club.”
Jin Ryu, the first member of The Promise Honors Club, started her relationship with The Promise in 2022 and has been steadily donating to victims of disasters.
The Promise Honors Club is appointed as a member by sponsors who have sponsored more than 100 million won temporarily and cumulatively, or who continuously lead the way in practicing the value of hope and promise with The Promise.
