The Gyeonggi-Guangdong Youth International Exchange Invitation Event was successfully held in 2024, a representative youth exchange project in Gyeonggi-do to introduce various cultures and history of Gyeonggi-do and provide opportunities for exchanges with youth in the province.
Hosted by Gyeonggi-do Province and organized by the foundation Daegun Youth Association (Gyeonggi Youth Activity Promotion Center), the 2024 Gyeonggi-Guangdong Youth International Exchange Invitation Event was held by inviting a total of 25 youths from Guangdong Province and five leaders to Gyeonggi-do Province for four nights and five days from Oct. 21-25.
During the five-day visit, youths from Guangdong Province, China, toured various historical and cultural attractions in Gyeonggi Province, including Yonggeonneung, Yongin University Taekwondo Department, Korean Folk Village, Yongin Hankuk University of Foreign Studies attachment high school, Gyeonggi Museum, and Everland, and experienced Korean culture. In addition, they visited Yongin University's Taekwondo Department and Yongin Hankuk University of Foreign Studies attachment high school, where they had time to communicate with each other and expand cultural diversity, and met again with Korean teenagers who were dispatched to Guangdong Province in China in June to communicate with each other.
