The Korean Embassy in the U.S. is also cruising in preparation for the Korean-American business competition

On October 4, the Federation of Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (President Lee Kyung-chul) visited the Korean Embassy in Washington, DC and held a meeting with Ambassador Cho Hyun-dong to the U.S., Cho Ki-jung, Consul General, and Huh Jung-mi.

President Lee Kyung-chul visited the Korean Embassy in the U.S. with Hong Seung-won, chairman of the buyer attraction committee, and Yang Kyung-ho, chairman of the program, and Lee asked the Korean Embassy in the U.S. to play a co-host role in the Korean Business Conference, which is currently co-hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the U.S., the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Businesses, the Korea Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives, and the Korea Venture Business Promotion Corporation.

Ambassador Cho Hyun-dong responded by promising to actively support the first Korean-American Business Conference in Atlanta in April next year, as an official sponsor, and will attend the competition in April next year to deliver a congratulatory speech.

In response, an official from the Federation of Korean Industries said, "The first Korean-American Business Conference, which will be held at the GassSouth Convention Center in Atlanta from April 17 to 19, 2025, will not only help Korean small and medium-sized companies enter the U.S. market, but also help Korea-U.S. economic exchanges and the Korea-U.S. economic alliance."
