Hyundai Motor is leading the development of Indonesia’s electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem in the world’s fourth most populous country. Starting November 28, Hyundai will launch an EV charging subscription service exclusively for its customers in Indonesia.
The subscription service is accessible via Hyundai’s car life app, “MyHyundai Indonesia.” Subscribers can freely use 518 EV chargers across 288 EV charging stations operated by Hyundai and its partner networks throughout Indonesia.
Customers can choose from three subscription tiers based on their lifestyle and charging needs: 50kWh, 100kWh, and 250kWh. If the allocated charging capacity is exceeded, additional charging is available through separate payment options.
Customers who purchased a Hyundai EV in Indonesia after September 2023 will receive a one-year discount on the subscription service. Additionally, Hyundai is accommodating Indonesia’s low credit card adoption rate by supporting mobile payment services. Subscribers can register their preferred payment method, eliminating the hassle of paying for each charging session.
By integrating mobile payments and flexible subscription plans, Hyundai aims to make EV charging seamless and accessible in Indonesia.
