World-OKTA Signs MOU with Home & Shopping to Support Export Expansion for Korean SMEs

The World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Associations (World-OKTA, Chairman Park Jong-beom) and Home & Shopping (CEO Moon Jae-soo) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on December 5 at the Korea Federation of SMEs (K-Biz) headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul. The agreement aims to support Korean small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in expanding overseas sales and export opportunities.

Key aspects of the MOU include:

  • Export collaboration and support for Korean SMEs entering overseas markets,
  • Utilizing World-OKTA’s global network to facilitate export support projects,
  • Sharing economic cooperation insights, including trends in international markets.

Through this partnership, both organizations plan to actively support SMEs' entry into global markets and achieve export success through various initiatives. World-OKTA will leverage its global network, while Home & Shopping will utilize its robust distribution platform to boost the global recognition and export performance of Korean SME products.

World-OKTA Chairman Park Jong-beom stated, "This agreement is a significant opportunity for SMEs to strengthen their competitiveness in the global market. By collaborating with Home & Shopping, we aim to promote outstanding SME products worldwide and assist their overseas expansion." He added, "This MOU will further energize World-OKTA’s activities, contributing to Korea’s economic development."

Home & Shopping CEO Moon Jae-soo remarked, "We will work with World-OKTA to strengthen overseas market access for SMEs."

K-Biz Chairman Kim Ki-moon emphasized, "Home & Shopping is the top home shopping platform in Korea for SME products, and with World-OKTA’s network, expanding overseas sales channels for SMEs will become even more effective."
