
The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) successfully hosted the opening ceremony of its Brazil Business Center on January 23 at the Tivoli Hotel Bella Vista Hall in São Paulo. The event was attended by over 40 distinguished guests from both Korea and Brazil, who celebrated the global expansion of Korean content and the importance of cultural exchange through Hallyu.
Key attendees included Korean Consul General Chae Jin-won, Cultural Center Director Kim Cheol-hong, and Yu Gun-young, President of the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Brazil, along with professionals from Brazil’s film and media industries.
Since its establishment in 2009, KOCCA has been actively expanding the international reach of Korean content by operating various overseas business centers. The new Brazil Business Center marks KOCCA’s 25th international office and is the fourth in Latin America, alongside those in Mexico, Argentina, and Chile (upcoming).
Through this initiative, KOCCA aims to strengthen its cooperation framework with Brazil and the wider Latin American market, promoting the growth and dissemination of Korean content across the region.
