The Clarksville Korean-American Chamber of Commerce (KACC, President Park Ki-chul) hosted the 1st Kimchi Festival and Business Leaders’ Meeting with the Consul General of Atlanta on March 15 at Kennedy Hall, located in Clarksville at Kennedy Law Firm.
The Kimchi Festival, attended by around 100 local Koreans and mainstream politicians, received enthusiastic responses. The event started with Honorary President Baek Hyun-mi serving as the host, followed by Director Son Kwang-nam’s opening declaration, Pastor Ma Seon-jang’s opening prayer, President Park Ki-chul’s welcoming speech, and Consul General Seo Sang-pyo’s congratulatory address.
In his welcome speech, President Park Ki-chul stated, “Kimchi is not only a representative Korean dish, but also a globally beloved health food. I hope that today’s gathering allows us to share the deep taste and tradition of kimchi, bringing our cultures even closer together.”
