OKOCC Participates in the "2024 2nd Invitation Training for Next-Generation Koreans to Be Home Country" by 450 people from 36 countries around the world

About 450 teenagers from 36 countries (about 293 overseas Koreans and about 152 in Korea) participated in the "2024 2nd Invitation Training for Next Generation Koreans to Home Country" organized by OKOCC (Center Director Kim Young-geun), an affiliated organization of OKC, and held an opening ceremony in Incheon on July 23 to begin a meaningful week-long journey to find identity and pride as Koreans by experiencing their motherland Korea firsthand.

OKOCC has prepared a newly upgraded training program this year and successfully organized the 1st Next Generation Koreans' Home Country Invitation Training from July 15 to 21, and is conducting the 2nd training program from July 22 to 28 this week.

In addition, various regional specialized programs are also provided in cooperation with Incheon Metropolitan City (Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok), Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Do Sung-hoon), and Gyeongju City (Mayor Joo Nak-young) to efficiently achieve the training objectives such as cultivating ▲ Korean identity and self-esteem, promoting ▲ bonds with the mother country, ▲ understanding Korea's development, ▲ expanding networks and exchanges between domestic and foreign generations, and ▲ supporting growth as global leaders.
