It has been five years since the 9th Korea-China-Japan Tourism Ministers' Meeting held in Incheon in August 2019. Until now, the tourism ministers' meeting has been postponed due to COVID-19.
At the meeting, the three ministers discussed cooperation measures and adopted a joint declaration in three areas: the rapid recovery of tourism exchanges after ▴ COVID-19, the importance of sustainable tourism in the ▴, and the improvement of the quality of tourism exchanges such as revitalizing tourism in ▴.
In particular, the tourism ministers of the three countries set a common goal of increasing human exchanges between the three countries from the current level of 30 million to 40 million by 2030, and pledged specific cooperation to realize it.
