The 28th World Korean Business Conference (hereinafter referred to as the 'Convention') hosted by the World Korean International Trade Association (hereinafter referred to as 'World Okta', President Park Jong-beom) will be held in Vienna, Austria for four nights and five days from October 28 to November 1.
The competition is a place where Korean businessmen from all over the world gather to strengthen global economic cooperation and networks, and is considered the biggest event among overseas Korean businessmen.
A total of 3,000 people will participate in the competition, including about 850 members of 89 cities in 46 countries, 100 domestic governments, local governments, and related organizations, 800 domestic companies, 60 Austrian government officials and overseas economic organizations, 500 European companies, and 500 on-site buyers.
The competition, which will be held in Europe for the first time in world octa history, will also host Europe's largest Korean product fair to showcase Korea's excellent products through 2024 KOREA BUSINESS EXPO VIENNA (hereinafter referred to as 'Expo') during the competition.
About 300 small and medium-sized companies, including large domestic companies such as Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors, will participate in the expo to showcase the excellent technology and products of Korean companies through a total of 400 booths.
In particular, excellent products such as K-beauty and K-food will be displayed, and hydrogen trucks will be displayed outside the exhibition hall to showcase Korea's advanced automobile technology, raising interest from local businessmen.
World Okta Chairman Park Jong-beom said he is preparing for the competition through a European-tailored strategy, presenting a new vision of converging economy and culture to support Korean companies' advancement into Europe.
