South Chungcheong Province Governor Kim Tae-heum to 'expand the Chinese market and attract tourists'

South Chungcheong Province Governor Kim Tae-heum went on a business trip to China to expand overseas markets for companies in the province, attract foreign tourists in the year of his visit to Chungnam from 2025 to 2026, and strengthen exchanges and cooperation.

According to the province, Governor Kim will visit Shenzhen and Guangzhou in Guangdong Province, China, and Suzhou in Hebei Province for a five-day visit from the 30th.

Looking at this business trip to China by schedule, Governor Kim will meet with Zhang Guifang, chairman of Jinjiang Academy at Sichuan University, in Shenzhen on the evening of the 30th, the first day of his visit to China.

At this meeting, Governor Kim will discuss expanding exchanges between college students with Chairman Zhang Guifang.

On the 31st, the second day of his visit to China, he will visit the third autumn of the 136th China Export-Import Commodity Trade Association (Canton Fair) after visiting Shenzhen's National Ecological and Tourism Bureau.

The China Export-Import Commodity Trade Conference is China's first and largest trade exhibition first held in 1957 and is held three times a year.

The province opened the Chungnam Pavilion at the trade meeting and sent 20 companies in the province, including Geumsan Suntouch, Geumsan Ginseng Cooperative, Boryeong Haegain, Cheonan Soul Nature Food, and Seocheon Luxury Seaweed, to explore the market.

Governor Kim will visit Chungcheongnam-do Hall on the same day to encourage businessmen in the province and ask local buyers to pay attention and purchase excellent products produced by Chungcheongnam-do.
