World-OKTA Held '2023 Next Generation Leaders Conference'

More than 100 next-generation leaders and domestic university students from 31 branches from 15 countries around the world participate    

The World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Associations (Chairman Jang Young-sik, hereinafter World-OKTA) will hold the 2023 Next Generation Leaders Conference in Seoul for two days from July 16 to 17.

The Next Generation Leaders Conference was held in Korea for the first time in four years by World-OKTA every year for the purpose of discovering the next generation of leading groups and exchanging networks for the next generation of each continent.

A total of 100 people participated in the conference, including World-OKTA next-generation executives, young CEOs, prospective founders, and domestic college students working at 31 branches in 15 countries around the world.

As the first schedule of the conference after the opening ceremony, a special lecture was given by instructor Lee Myung-jong under the chairmanship of "leadership." Since then, participants have had time to discuss various topics in groups and to share the characteristics of each region and communicate together.

On the second day, starting with special lectures by speakers, a program to expand network exchanges among next-generation members will be held along with a time to establish national consciousness and identity through a tour of Gyeongbokgung Palace and the History Museum.

In addition, World-OKTA headquarters executives and next-generation leaders from each continent will discuss new visions for next-generation activities and ways to exchange next-generation products in the future.

"It is very meaningful to have next-generation leaders from all over the world in my home country for the first time in four years," Hong Hae, chairman of the next generation, said in his opening speech. 

Roh Sung-hee, vice chairman of business, said in a congratulatory speech, "It is very meaningful that the pandemic situation improves and next-generation leaders from around the world gather together. I hope it will be an opportunity to take a step forward by sharing examples of leaders in each region.

Participants in the conference will also participate in the 21st World-OKTA Next-Generation Global Startup Trade School's visit to the motherland, which will be held at the YBM Training Center in Hwaseong for 6 nights and 7 days from the 18th to the 24th.
