OKOCC (Center Director Kim Young-geun) will hold the "10th World Korean Politicians Forum" in Fairmont Ambassador Seoul for four days from the 20th to the 23rd.

Hosted by the World Council of Korean Politicians (Chairman Yuna Martin, Federal Senator of Canada) and sponsored by the Overseas Koreans Cooperation Center, the forum will look back on its achievements and present future visions under the slogan "Our network is our networth."

This year, more than 100 Korean politicians from 14 countries, as well as officials from the National Assembly and the government, will attend. In particular, aides from each country's next generation of Korean politicians are noteworthy, with the proportion of participants under the age of 45 exceeding 50% unlike previous years, including Daniel Bae, a U.S. Representative of Oklahoma (3rd term, born in 1995), Kim Ernest, a member of the Youth Congress under the House of Representatives of the Free Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (born in 1997), and Yannick Shetty, a member of the Federal House of Representatives of Austria's New Austrian Party (the youngest member of the Federal House of Representatives, born in 1995). In addition, aides from each country, including executives of the LA Korean Advisers Association, which was officially launched this year, will participate.

On the 21st, Forum I will share the challenges of Korean politicians and have time with invited students from overseas who are studying in Korea. Forum II will review the achievements of the past 10 years and present its vision for the future, while Forum III will invite domestic experts on four topics: ▲ Peace/Security, ▲ History/Heritage, ▲ Welfare/Policy, ▲ Education/Culture, and ▲ In-depth discussions will be held on the challenges and issues facing the motherland community, including the issue of low birth rate and aging population, understanding of the global spread of Korean culture, and embracing cultural diversity.
