The San Francisco Bay Area Korean Association participated in the 31st Fiesta Festival hosted by the Philippine community with more than 400 Koreans, including the Korean Cultural Center Woori Sisaeng (Director Ko Mi-sook), the San Ramon Korean Language Love Association (Hansamo, Chairman Oh Yeon-soo), the Silicon Valley Hwarang Youth Foundation (CEO Seo Hee-kyung), the San Francisco Special Quire Lions Club (Chairman Kang Seung-gu), Kim Il-hyun, the Korean Traditional Dance Company (Chairman Kim Il-hyun), the Kim Jin-deok Foundation (Chairman Kim Soon-ran), the Korean American Senior Volunteer Association (Chairman Choi Kyung-soo), the Santa Clara Association (SF Democratic Council, Chairman Choi Jeom-kyun), the Silicon Valley Korean Choir (Director Ahn Sang-seok), God's Image (Director Um Young-mi), the Korean Language Education Foundation (Chairman Koo Eun-hee), the UC Berkeley K-pop dance team KPG Cal, the Sacramento Korean Association (Chairman Imona), and the San Francisco Sports Association (Chairman Philip Won).
Prior to the start of the parade, the Korean Cultural Center's Woori Committee presented Nanta as an opening performance, drawing loud applause from festival participants as well as local residents. In the city parade, which took place on the 1.5-mile (about 2.4Km) city street from San Francisco City Hall to Yerba Buena Garden, where the festival was held, he led the festival vehicle with the chwita and announced the excellence of Korean traditional culture to thousands of people, including mainstream society residents and tourists, who filled San Francisco Market Street on weekends.
